Max Fashion and Kalki Koechlin launch Festive 2026 Collection
Max Fashion has launched its Festive 2026 Collection in collaboration with Kalki Koechlin, centered around the brand’s purpose-led platform, Max Project New. The collection aims to merge contemporary fashion with traditional craftsmanship and original fine art.
A key component of the initiative involves a partnership with the Chennai-based Kairassi Foundation, an organization that empowers specially-abled artists. The original paintings of three artists—Simron, Pavithra, and Manas—have been translated directly onto fabric. These designs include watercolor landscapes, ocean-inspired patterns, and unique straw-painting techniques applied to items such as skirts, shirts, and tote bags.
The collection also integrates traditional Sanganeri hand block printing from Rajasthan, featuring designs such as Japanese sakura blooms. This fusion seeks to elevate fashion by incorporating meaningful narratives and artisanal skills into everyday wearable pieces.
