Actor Max Greenfield told the Today show that a New Girl reunion was in the works, saying, “As far as I know, it’s happening,” and that he had seen scripts written by creator Liz Meriwether. He later added that the scripts were “amazing.”

In a subsequent interview with Variety, Greenfield said he “misread the email” about the reunion and retracted his earlier comment, noting there is no official update.
