Max Hopp sets German record with tenth Darts World Championship qualification

German darts professional Max Hopp has set a new national record by qualifying for his tenth appearance at the World Darts Championship held at Alexandra Palace. This milestone makes him the first German player to reach ten World Championship participations.

The achievement marks a significant comeback for the 30-year-old, who previously faced a professional slump that resulted in the loss of his PDC Tour Card in late 2022. Hopp has since experienced a strong resurgence, earning over £50,000 in prize money this season and performing consistently in Players Championship tournaments.

Hopp expressed immense pride in his recovery and his ability to overcome previous professional setbacks to reach this career milestone.
