Max Kruse debuts at WSOP Main Event and joins TV show “Die Verräter”

Former German footballer Max Kruse, now also a poker enthusiast, posted a vlog of his first day in the World Series of Poker Main Event in Las Vegas. In the video he shows his preparation, including a high‑protein egg burger from “eggslut,” and reviews key hands during tournament breaks.

At the same time Kruse has returned to his hometown region to play for TuS Dassendorf in the Hamburg Oberliga and will appear as one of 18 celebrity contestants on Sonja Zietlow’s reality series “Die Verräter,” where participants are divided into “traitors” and “loyalists.”
