Max Planck Institute breaks ground on new cybersecurity research center

The state and federal governments of North Rhine-Westphalia have broken ground on a new research center for the Max Planck Institute for Security and Privacy (MPI-SP). The facility is designed to focus on research against cyberattacks.

The groundbreaking ceremony included various officials, such as Dr. Simone Schwanitz, Secretary General of the Max Planck Society, and Gaby Schäfer, the Mayor of Bochum. The project involves collaboration between the Max Planck Society and institutions like the Ruhr University Bochum to advance security and privacy research.
