Max Verstappen celebrates 29th birthday amid F1 schedule shifts
Formula 1 driver Max Verstappen is celebrating his 29th birthday on September 30. The four-time world champion, who holds the record as the youngest race winner in F1 history, is currently preparing for the upcoming racing schedule.
Due to conflicts in the Middle East, the Bahrain Grand Prix has been rescheduled to take place at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia. During recent sessions in Malaysia, George Russell topped the timesheets. Verstappen has expressed a desire to secure at least one race victory for the remainder of the 2026 season as Red Bull Racing works to close the technical gap to Mercedes.
Verstappen also recently reflected on his long-standing professional relationship with engineer Gianpiero Lambiase, noting their strong bond since his debut as a teenager in 2016.
