Max Verstappen invites Daniel Ahola to Silverstone karting challenge

Four-time Formula 1 World Champion Max Verstappen has invited Finnish social media influencer Daniel Ahola to participate in the ‘Max vs 100’ karting challenge. The event, scheduled to take place in Silverstone this September, will see Verstappen compete against 100 other drivers, including various athletes and influencers.

Ahola, the sole Finnish participant in the competition, expressed surprise at the invitation, noting that the opportunity to race against the world champion felt ‘unreal’. To prepare for the high-level competition, Ahola has begun intensive training in karting to ensure he is in peak condition for the event.

For Verstappen, the competition represents a return to the fundamentals of racing. Having started karting at age four and achieving numerous championships in Belgium and the Netherlands, the 28-year-old driver views the event as a way to return to the basics of driving, such as starts, defending, and overtaking.
