Max Verstappen rejects Ferrari move to prioritize winning with Red Bull

Max Verstappen has dismissed rumors regarding a potential move to Ferrari, emphasizing that his primary motivation in Formula 1 is winning rather than team prestige or nostalgia. Speaking ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix, the four-time world champion stated that while he has immense respect for the Ferrari brand, he would not join the team if it meant competing for lower positions such as fifth or sixth place.

Verstappen reaffirmed his commitment to Red Bull Racing, where he is under contract until 2030. He described the team as a “second family” and noted that the challenge of rebuilding and maintaining performance keeps him motivated.

Regarding recent internal changes at Red Bull, Verstappen commented that the current environment feels “less stressful.” He also maintained a neutral stance on the future of Christian Horner, stating that Horner has done good work and that any potential return would not be his concern.
