Max Verstappen slams new F1 rules, Steiner backs Red Bull

Dutch driver Max Verstappen criticised the latest Formula 1 technical regulations, saying the strict limits on electric power units force every car to behave the same and compel drivers to adapt their style to the fastest possible setup. He warned that this uniformity erodes the value of individual talent, noting, "You must always adapt your driving style to what is fastest."

Team principal Günther Steiner responded that Verstappen’s outspoken comments are typical for the sport and do not add pressure on Red Bull Racing. Steiner said the team is already under enough scrutiny and that drivers looking at other opportunities is normal. He affirmed that Red Bull remains Verstappen’s most likely destination, stating, "I don’t think he needs to put pressure on the team."
