Max Verstappen to race against 100 karts at Silverstone

Formula 1 champion Max Verstappen will participate in a unique karting challenge titled ‘Max vs 100’, scheduled for September 16, 2026, at Silverstone. Organized by Red Bull in collaboration with Disney+ and ESPN, the event features a massive 101-kart grid where Verstappen will start from the final position. His objective is to overtake all 100 competitors during a single race.

The competition will take place on a track specifically designed for the event by race director and former junior karting world champion David Terrien. The grid will consist of a mix of athletes, content creators, and streamers, including figures such as Arda Saatçi, Chris ‘Lethal Shooter’ Matthews, Matt Jones, TheGrefg, Caedrel, and TheDonato. The event is designed to blend elite motorsport with digital entertainment and will be broadcast live globally.
