Max Weiss gingerbread factory maintains century-old tradition in Neu-Ulm

The Max Weiss gingerbread factory in Neu-Ulm, Germany, continues its century-long tradition of producing seasonal confectionery. Founded in 1925, the facility now processes approximately 140 tons of gingerbread daily through highly automated production lines.

Despite being acquired by the Lambertz-Gruppe in 1994, the factory maintains its traditional brand identity. Plant manager Maximilian Giszas describes the facility as one of the most modern gingerbread plants in the world, operating nearly 24 hours a day in three shifts to meet demand, even during the summer months.
