Maxcanú university hosts mobile state and federal service window

The Universidad Tecnológica del Poniente (UTP) in Maxcanú is hosting the Mobile State Single Window (Univuem) from October 19 to 29. This initiative, part of the Renacimiento Maya government strategy, allows students, faculty, administrative staff, and local residents to complete state and federal procedures directly on campus.

Operating Monday through Friday from 9:00 to 15:00, the module aims to reduce travel costs and waiting times for the university community and inhabitants of Maxcanú and its surrounding localities. Gonzalo Jesús Canché Cetz, Undersecretary of Innovation, Regulatory Improvement, and Institutional Efficiency, noted that these efforts are part of a broader plan to simplify bureaucracy through digital points known as Renacimiento Modules, which feature interfaces in both Spanish and Maya.

UTP Rector Rafael Chan Magaña highlighted that the service provides significant relief to families who would otherwise face considerable time and financial investments to conduct government business.
