Maxim Mrva wins ATP Challenger 75 tournament in Todi
Czech tennis player Maxim Mrva has won the ATP Challenger 75 Sidernestor Tennis Cup in Todi, Italy. The 19-year-old secured the title by defeating Nicolas Kicker in the final with a dominant 6-2, 6-2 scoreline.
Mrva, a former under-14 world champion, showed consistent performance throughout the tournament after a difficult opening match against Basile. This victory marks his first Challenger-level title following two previous final appearances in Hersonissos. The win is expected to propel him toward the ATP Top 200, potentially allowing him to enter Grand Slam qualifying rounds in the upcoming season.
Nicolas Kicker reached the final after eliminating several Italian players, including Stefano Travaglia, Francesco Passaro, and Marco Cecchinato, but ultimately fell short of the title.
