Maxime Renaux and Reisulis brothers to leave Yamaha

Yamaha Motor Europe has officially announced the departure of several key riders, marking the end of long-standing partnerships. French rider Maxime Renaux will leave the Japanese manufacturer at the conclusion of the 2026 season, ending a 17-year relationship that began in his youth.

Renaux, the 2021 MX2 World Champion, has achieved significant success with Yamaha, including a 2015 Junior 125cc world title and 19 Grand Prix victories. Following his departure, he is set to join the De Carli KTM team for the next season.

Additionally, Latvian riders Janis and Karlis Reisulis have confirmed they are also parting ways with Yamaha. Janis leaves after four seasons, during which he secured two European titles, while Karlis concludes a five-year tenure with the brand. Both riders expressed gratitude for their time with the manufacturer via social media.
