Maximo Quiles wins Hungarian Moto3 GP as race ends under red flag

Spanish rider Maximo Quiles secured his fifth victory of the season at the Moto3 Hungarian Grand Prix held at Balaton Park. The win extended his lead in the world championship standings. David Almansa, also from Spain, started from pole and led early, but Quiles overtook him after the latter switched tyre strategy. The race was stopped with a red flag after a series of crashes involving several riders, including David Muñoz, Brian Uriarte and others, prompting officials to end the event.

Almansa, who had recovered from a recent tonsil surgery, and Álvaro Carpe completed the podium, while the incident saw three riders fall in the final laps. Despite the chaotic finish, the event concluded with Quiles winning by a clear margin.
