Maximos Charakopoulos announces abolition of ENFIA tax in villages

Maximos Charakopoulos, General Secretary of the New Democracy Parliamentary Group and MP for Larissa, announced that the ENFIA property tax will be completely abolished in villages starting next year. Speaking in the village of Verdikousa, Elassona, Charakopoulos stated that the Mitsotakis administration has reduced or abolished 83 taxes during its seven years in power.

Charakopoulos emphasized that economic stability and growth will lead to improved incomes and further tax reductions, particularly for families with children. He contrasted the reliability of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis in fulfilling pre-election commitments with the perceived unreliability of former Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and the SYRIZA party.
