Maximos Charakopoulos attends Samarina celebrations

Maximos Charakopoulos, General Secretary of the New Democracy Parliamentary Group, attended the religious services at the Church of Panagia in Samarina to celebrate Vlach Greek traditions. During the event, Charakopoulos emphasized that the preservation of Greek identity relies on faith and community solidarity.

He stated that modern challenges cannot be met with mere pleasantries or empty words, but rather through common sense and the rejection of toxicity in public discourse. Charakopoulos also noted the importance of the recently inaugurated E65 motorway, describing it as a vital project that connects Thessaly with Western Macedonia and links the Aegean and Ionian seas.
