MaxLinear posts 55% revenue growth in Q2 2026, infrastructure sales jump 145%

MaxLinear reported second‑quarter 2026 revenue of $168.8 million, a 55% increase from the same quarter a year earlier and 23% higher than the prior quarter. The company returned to GAAP profitability with earnings per share of $0.02 and posted a non‑GAAP EPS of $0.35. Infrastructure became its largest revenue segment, growing 145% year‑over‑year to $85 million, while broadband, connectivity and industrial segments contributed $45 million, $24 million and $15 million respectively. GAAP gross margin was 57.8% and non‑GAAP gross margin 59.5%.

Chief Executive Kishore Seendripu said the strong performance reflects growing demand for MaxLinear’s optical data‑center products, and the company raised its 2026 optical data‑center revenue outlook to $210‑$230 million. The balance sheet ended the quarter with about $93.7 million in cash and restricted cash, and operating cash flow for the quarter was roughly $4.8 million.
