Bignona police dismantle drug network and seize 20 kg of cannabis

Police in Bignona, Senegal, have dismantled a drug trafficking network following an operation in the TP neighborhood. Acting on an anonymous tip, the Bignona Police Research Brigade intercepted three individuals during a suspected delivery near a gas depot.

Authorities seized 20 kilograms of cannabis (chanvre indien) and a motorcycle used in the transport. Two of the suspects reportedly confessed to the crimes, while the driver of the motorcycle claimed to be unaware of the bag's contents. The three individuals have been taken into custody for criminal association and drug trafficking as investigations continue to identify further links in the network.
