Maxx Crosby discusses Raiders draft regrets and failed Ravens trade

Las Vegas Raiders star pass rusher Maxx Crosby has shared insights regarding past team decisions and a failed offseason trade. Crosby revealed that he and former defensive line coach Rob Marinelli had strongly advocated for the Raiders to select Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Jalen Carter with the 7th overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. Instead, the team selected Tyree Wilson, who was later traded to the New Orleans Saints.

Crosby also reflected on a collapsed offseason trade that would have sent him to the Baltimore Ravens. He noted that he felt an intuitive sense that the move “didn't feel right” while in Baltimore, even before a failed physical ended the transition. Despite the uncertainty of the situation, Crosby stated he never intended to leave Las Vegas and remains committed to being the best player possible for the Raiders.
