Speculation regarding a potential trade for Las Vegas Raiders edge-rusher Maxx Crosby has resurfaced following recent salary cap maneuvers by the Dallas Cowboys. After a previously discussed trade to the Baltimore Ravens fell through in March, Crosby is expected to return to the Raiders for the upcoming season after recovering from offseason knee surgery.

The Cowboys recently restructured contracts for players including Kenny Clark, Jake Ferguson, and DaRon Bland, creating approximately $19 million in cap space. This brings their total available cap space to roughly $33 million, leading NFL insiders to suggest the team may have positioned itself to absorb a significant veteran contract via trade before the season deadline.
