May & Baker Nigeria Plc has issued a public warning regarding a fraudulent investment scheme operating under the name ‘M&B Equity Stake’. The pharmaceutical company stated that the scheme is unauthorized and has no connection to its operations, subsidiaries, or affiliates.

The fraudulent activity involves materials being circulated via social media, messaging applications, and other online platforms. These communications promise members of the public daily or guaranteed returns on investments.

In a notice dated August 17, 2026, the company emphasized that all legitimate corporate actions, such as dividends and rights issues, are communicated exclusively through official and approved channels. May & Baker urged investors to disregard these unauthorized solicitations and to refrain from making payments or disclosing personal and financial information to the promoters of the scheme.
