May J. to perform duet with singer with cerebral palsy on 24 Hour Television

Singer May J. will perform a special duet with Taiki Sekimoto, a 22-year-old wheelchair singer with cerebral palsy, during the Kansai local broadcast of ‘24 Hour Television 49’.

Sekimoto, who lives in Kameoka, Kyoto, has faced significant physical challenges due to cerebral palsy, including impaired vision and high muscle tension. Inspired by May J.’s vocals in the film ‘Frozen’, he pursued a dream of becoming a singer. In a surprise visit to his home, May J. proposed that they perform ‘Let It Go’ together during the program.

May J. expressed her excitement about the collaboration, noting that Sekimoto’s voice is “clear and gentle” and that his strength and kindness were evident when they met.
