Maya Jama defends recruitment of Traitors on Celebrity Traitors

On the reality competition show ‘The Celebrity Traitors’, mathematician Hannah Fry has faced scrutiny from the ‘Faithful’ players due to her analytical nature and recent involvement in deceptive gameplay. Following a series of suspicions and a lie regarding a shield, some viewers believe Fry may have secured her position by strategically advising players to look beyond obvious targets, including herself.

Host Maya Jama has defended her decision to recruit Fry and comedian James Acaster as Traitors. Despite the pair expressing difficulty with their roles and a desire to play as ‘Faithfuls’, Jama noted on social media that she was unaware of their reluctance when they were initially selected. The recruitment follows the departure of Richard E. Grant, who was banished after revealing his Traitor status to the group.
