Mayank Yadav praised for high-speed return in T20I

Former Indian opener Aakash Chopra has praised fast bowler Mayank Yadav following his strong performance in the second T20I against West Indies in Ranchi. After a long absence due to injury, Yadav demonstrated his ability to regain his signature pace, recording speeds of approximately 150 km/h.

Yadav claimed three wickets during the match, including key dismissals of Kamil Pooran and Shimron Hetmyer during the powerplay. Chopra noted that while returning to top-level cricket after rehabilitation can be nerve-wracking, Yadav’s ability to maintain high velocity is his greatest strength and a significant personal achievement that should boost his confidence.
