Mayawati criticizes Akhilesh Yadav's PDA Rath campaign

Mayawati, president of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), has criticized Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Akhilesh Yadav regarding his upcoming 'PDA Rath' election campaign. In a social media post, Mayawati claimed that the campaign's branding features more saffron—the color associated with the RSS and BJP—than the traditional red of the Samajwadi Party.

She accused the SP of changing its colors and political stances like a chameleon to serve electoral interests. Mayawati further questioned the party's reliability among Muslim voters, suggesting that despite significant support in previous elections, the SP has failed to prevent the BJP from forming governments at both state and central levels.

Additionally, Mayawati challenged the definition of the SP's 'PDA' slogan, noting that the party has inconsistently defined its components to include different groups such as 'Pichda, Dalit' or 'Pandit' depending on political needs. She positioned the BSP as a true Ambedkarite party focused on the welfare of all society.
