Mayawati rejects Ashok Siddharth's return to BSP

Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati has dismissed rumors regarding the potential return of former Rajya Sabha MP Ashok Siddharth to the party. She stated there is ‘not an iota of truth’ in speculation that Siddharth will be readmitted following his retirement from politics in September.

Mayawati praised her nephew, Akash Anand, who was recently reinstated as the party’s national coordinator. She noted that Anand has demonstrated maturity by prioritizing the BSP and its movement over personal and family relationships.

Anand is scheduled to lead several outreach programs and public meetings across Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, and Uttarakhand through late November and early December. Additionally, Anand’s brother, Ishan, will assist with election-related work and administrative tasks at the BSP’s central office in Delhi.
