Maynard James Keenan to open Queen B Sushi in Arizona

Musician Maynard James Keenan, known for his work with Tool, A Perfect Circle, and Puscifer, is expanding his business ventures in Arizona with the opening of Queen B Sushi. The restaurant is scheduled to open on September 4 at 816 N. Main St. in Old Town Cottonwood.

Culinary Director Chef Brett Vibber, who has experience with Roka Akor in London, Hong Kong, and the U.S., leads the establishment. The kitchen team includes Chef Chuhiro ‘Thomas’ Kato, who trained under Nobu Matsuhisa and Masaharu Morimoto, and Arizona native Chef Sheridan ‘Sher’ Chase.

This new venture follows Keenan’s previous business efforts in the Verde Valley, including a winery and the expansion of Queen B Vinyl Café into a café and coffee roaster.
