Mayo Clinic earns U.S. News honor roll spot and opens new retail store in Red Wing

The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota was placed on U.S. News & World Report’s 2026‑27 Best Hospitals Honor Roll, joining 19 other top hospitals nationwide. It ranked first among Minnesota hospitals and earned top positions for gastroenterology surgery and high rankings in orthopedics, pulmonology and urology.

Separately, Wold Architects & Engineers completed the Mayo Clinic Store in Red Wing, Minnesota. The retail outlet at 3243 S. Service Drive offers home medical equipment, post‑surgical supplies, respiratory and wound‑care products, and is intended to support patients transitioning from hospital to home. The store expands the Mayo Clinic Health System’s patient‑centered services beyond clinical facilities.
