Mayo Clinic Rochester ranked top smart hospital globally

Mayo Clinic smart hospitals artificial intelligence healthcare technology Newsweek rankings

Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, has secured the top position in Newsweek’s “World’s Best Smart Hospitals 2027” list. The ranking evaluates 410 healthcare organizations across 33 countries, specifically highlighting providers that integrate artificial intelligence and advanced technology into patient care.

In addition to the Rochester campus retaining its number one spot, several other Mayo Clinic locations appeared in the top 50, including the Arizona campus at 11th, the Florida campus at 21st, and the Eau Claire, Wisconsin, hospital at 46th. Mayo Clinic President and CEO Gianrico Farrugia stated that the rankings reflect the organization’s use of data and AI to improve care for complex medical conditions.
