Mayor Alper Taban Announces New Asphalt and Development Projects in İnegöl, Turkey

İnegöl Mayor Alper Taban met with local press representatives to review recent and upcoming municipal activities. He said the city will prioritize asphalt paving in the Kozluca area within the next ten days, followed by work on the Karalar road. Additional surfacing projects are planned for the Ertuğrulgazi, Akhisar, Cumhuriyet, Fatih, Mahmudiye and Turgutalp neighborhoods, with coordination from the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality.

Taban also outlined several broader development initiatives, including the completed Alanyurt square, ongoing Alanyurt swimming‑pool construction, the opening of the Ağaç İşleri and Şehitler intersections on the Bursa‑Ankara highway, the Kanal İnegöl‑2 water‑channel project, drainage works supported by the State Hydraulic Works (DSİ), and the continuation of TOKİ housing phases. He mentioned a trial run of a metrobüs line, the start of operations at a gastro‑café on the canal, and progress on student dormitory and social‑housing projects, all aimed at accelerating the city’s infrastructure and services.
