Mayor Angarano orders crackdown on illegal e‑scooters and waste violations in Bisceglie

A joint operation by the Bisceglie municipal police, the State Police and the Bari Motor Vehicle Authority inspected electric micromobility vehicles and bicycles in the town. The mayor, Angelantonio Angarano, said several vehicles were found to be irregular and were seized, and fifteen road‑code violations were recorded, including prohibited travel inside the Villa Comunale and carrying passengers on electric scooters, which is expressly banned.

The mayor added that inspections and sanctions continue on illegal waste dumping and improper disposal, with urban hygiene staff and local police officers targeting the practice as a harmful phenomenon for the community. He pledged ongoing checks in the coming days to protect public safety and urged citizen cooperation.
