Xalapa municipality begins asphalt repairs on Miguel Alemán Avenue
The Xalapa city council, through its Public Works Directorate, started on 8 June a road‑rehabilitation program on several sections of Miguel Alemán Avenue. Workers are applying hot‑mix asphalt patches to address potholes and improve surface durability.
The project is part of a permanent maintenance plan promoted by Mayor Daniela Griego Ceballos. Temporary traffic adjustments and detours have been announced, and motorists are asked to follow posted signage to avoid inconvenience. The council says the work will enhance road safety for drivers, transporters and pedestrians and raise the overall quality of urban infrastructure in the city.
