Mayor Eduardo Gattás seeks PEMEX asphalt for Victoria road repairs

Mayor Eduardo Gattás of Victoria, Tamaulipas, traveled to Mexico City for meetings with officials of state oil company PEMEX to arrange the supply of large volumes of asphalt. The material is intended to accelerate the municipal road‑rehabilitation program, which includes recent paving work on Boulevard José López Portillo, Boulevard Fidel Velásquez, and Avenida del Estudiante.

The Tamaulipas State Cyber Guard also issued a public advisory warning residents about fraud in online graduation‑related sales. The guard urged shoppers to purchase only from establishments with a physical presence to avoid scams.
