Mayor Erkan Aydın opens artificial turf field in Bursa's Güneybudaklar

The Osmangazi municipality in Bursa, Turkey, completed a new artificial‑turf football field in the rural Güneybudaklar neighbourhood. The project, driven by mayor Erkan Aydın, was initiated after local children and the neighbourhood muhtar, Ali Öztürk, requested a safe sports venue. Construction began quickly and the field was finished within about a week, offering a modern, secure surface for daily use.

Local officials praised the rapid response: “Başkanımız Erkan Aydın, mahallemize bir halı saha yapılması yönünde talepte bulunduk. Talebimizi ilettiğimizde bizi olumlu karşıladı ve halı sahanın en kısa sürede yapılacağının sözünü verdi…" Children expressed gratitude, saying the new field lets them play football safely and enjoy their free time.
