Mayor Gustavo Saadi of Catamarca met with the newly elected board of the Centro de Excombatientes de Malvinas de Catamarca. The meeting resulted in a framework agreement for a series of infrastructure and commemorative projects. The pact calls for a comprehensive refurbishment of the veterans’ social headquarters on Almagro 720 and the creation of artistic murals honoring the fallen Malvinas soldiers.

The agreement also includes the installation of a plane‑wing monument and a large metal sculpture of the Malvinas Islands in the 2 de Abril plaza, as well as other urban improvements. Municipal secretary of Government Germán Kranevitter pledged concrete support for each initiative. Veterans Daniel Flores, Carlos Ponce, Ramón Contreras and Federico Ormachea participated and expressed gratitude for the municipality’s backing.
