Buharkent Prepares Permanent Shooting Range for 19th Fresh Fig Festival

Buharkent Municipality is finalising preparations for a shooting competition that will be held during the 19th Taze İncir (Fresh Fig) Festival. Mayor Mehmet Erol inspected the venue in Gelenbe Mahallesi together with local muhtar Taner Erden, confirming that the work is proceeding on schedule. The competition area is being built in cooperation with Aydın Büyükşehir Belediyesi, and officials say the facility is intended to remain in use after the festival as a permanent shooting range for the district. The event is part of the festival’s third day and aims to promote sport and community participation in the region.
