Mayor Iva Rinčić Receives Full Council Support for Second Year in Rijeka

City councilors Marin Račić and Igor Vlajnić of Rijeka’s Centre party publicly affirmed their unconditional backing of Mayor Iva Rinčić for the second year of her term. In a press conference they praised her transparency after the first year and pledged cooperation to carry out the coalition’s agreed programmes.

The councilors also criticized the previous administration, describing inherited financial deficits, deteriorating infrastructure, under‑funded municipal utilities and inadequate public services that they say will require time and effort to resolve. They highlighted specific legacy issues such as the garage on Klobučić Square and outdated communal enterprises.
