Mayor Javier Díaz González expands Saltillo 'Aquí Andamos' cleaning and road program

On July 27‑28, 2026, Saltillo mayor Javier Díaz González intensified the municipal "Aquí Andamos" initiative, directing crews to clean and rehabilitate public spaces across the city. The first day focused on a deep cleaning of the San Lorenzo arroyo in the Lomas del Refugio area, removing trash, weeds and debris to reduce flood risk, while also repairing pavement on the El Sarape distributor and pruning vegetation along major avenues.

The following day, municipal workers painted and repaired containment barriers on Bulevar Fundadores, refreshed curb‑side markings on the El Sarape distributor, and cleaned sidewalks and green strips. Both operations were carried out with the support of Governor Manolo Jiménez, and residents were reminded of the virtual assistance line "Saltillo Fácil" (844‑160‑08‑08) for reporting municipal service issues.
