Mayor Javier Díaz González pushes security and economic cooperation between Saltillo and Torreón
Mayor Javier Díaz González of Saltillo ordered daily coordination among municipal security agencies, state authorities, the Mexican Army and the National Guard to preserve public safety. He highlighted the close collaboration with Governor Manolo Jiménez Salinas and announced reinforced patrols and preventive operations throughout the city.
Díaz González also announced a partnership with the neighboring city of Torreón, stating that both municipalities will work together to spur economic growth and maintain security in the region. He expressed confidence in the incoming Torreón mayor, former Governor Miguel Ángel Riquelme, and said the political transition will ensure continuity of government strategies and social stability.
