Mayor José de la Uz Announces Over 7,300 Summer Camp Places in Las Rozas

Mayor José de la Uz visited the summer camp facilities in Las Rozas, confirming that the municipality will offer 7,362 places for children and teenagers aged 7 to 18 this season. The programme includes a technology hub (HUB232) where around 400 students are learning programming, 3‑D design, virtual reality, mathematics and entrepreneurship.

Sports camps host more than 1,500 participants and feature activities such as football, basketball, tennis, swimming, volleyball, climbing and chess. Additional options cover creative pursuits – theatre, music and dance – as well as environmental and multi‑adventure camps at the Finca de El Pilar. The mayor was accompanied by councilors Alba Monteiro (Economy, Innovation and Employment) and Juan Cabrera (Sports) during the inspections.
