Mayor Juan Manuel Navarro Muñiz launches community football festival and seeks Soledad’s exit from Interapas
Mayor Juan Manuel Navarro Muñiz opened the Fiesta Futbolera in the main plaza of Soledad de Graciano Sánchez, projecting the Mexico‑South Africa match on a giant screen. The event featured 4‑v‑4 football challenges, a virtual FC 26 tournament, live music, food stalls and activities for all ages. The mayor said, “Nos llena de orgullo ver una Plaza principal llena de vida, con familias conviviendo, niñas y niños disfrutando, jóvenes participando y personas de todas las edades compartiendo la emoción del futbol.”
The municipal government is also preparing a proposal to present to the Cabildo to formalise Soledad’s disincorporation from the Interapas organization, with the request to be forwarded to the state congress. Navarro Muñiz noted that water‑service deficits remain a top citizen demand and that the town is using its own funds to clear and repair collapsed drainage systems to prevent flooding.
