Mayor Marco Bonilla launches Antojos Festival and visits Juárez market

Mayor Marco Bonilla of Chihuahua visited the Mercado de “Segundas” Las Gladiolas in Ciudad Juárez, speaking with vendors and shoppers about the market’s role in providing affordable goods and daily income for thousands of families. He noted concerns raised by merchants over security, infrastructure and working conditions, emphasizing the need for municipal support.

Later, Bonilla inaugurated the fourth edition of the Antojos 2026 Festival on Paseo Bolívar, describing the event as a key driver of local economic growth, tourism and cultural identity. He highlighted cooperation between the municipal government, private sector and community groups, and praised the festival’s contribution to Chihuahua’s national culinary reputation and its promotion in the Agenda México program.
