Mayor Marco Bonilla of Chihuahua allocates 9 million pesos for Guadalupe projects and tightens security for national‑soc

Chihuahua mayor Marco Bonilla announced that more than 9 million pesos will be spent this year on infrastructure in the Guadalupe sector. The plan includes a new 5.6‑million‑peso fast‑soccer field, the start of a 3‑million‑peso expansion of the multipurpose hall, rehabilitation of the Alamillo de Acosta crossing and paving of the two main access roads to Guadalupe. A space for the "Club del Abuelo" will also be created to broaden community services.

Bonilla also detailed special police operations for the upcoming Mexico national‑team match, with heightened surveillance around Plaza del Ángel and increased patrols in restaurant areas. He urged residents to enjoy the game responsibly, emphasizing respect and public order as the city hosts the match against South Africa.
