Mayor Marco Bonilla visits Ciudad Juárez to meet athletes and merchants

Mayor Marco Bonilla of Chihuahua capital conducted a work tour in Ciudad Juárez, meeting residents, athletes, and local merchants. He accompanied runners along Avenida 4 Siglos, discussing sport, mobility, and public spaces, and later visited the La Lucero market area to hear concerns about economic conditions and daily challenges faced by vendors.

Bonilla highlighted the role of sport in shaping disciplined citizens and urged greater investment in facilities and programs for youth. He praised local talent, called for more opportunities for children and young athletes, and emphasized the need for improved infrastructure, safety, and public services throughout the city and the state of Chihuahua.
