Mayor Miguel Ángel Riquelme Solís Announces Park and Water Projects in Torreón

Mayor Miguel Ángel Riquelme Solís inspected the Bosque Urbano and the Multideportivo Oriente in Torreón, Coahuila, and announced immediate actions to increase police patrols, improve lighting, and add equipment for maintenance. He also proposed the construction of a canine park within the Bosque Urbano and the installation of a fence around the treated‑water lake to prevent accidents.

In a separate meeting with residents of the Torreón Jardín colonia, Riquelme Solís discussed water supply concerns and agreed to evaluate drilling a new well to ensure adequate service for both Torreón Jardín and the neighboring Campestre La Rosita. He also addressed private security fee increases, pledging municipal mediation to improve transparency and maintain the existing security model.
