Mayor Min Hyeong-bae begins regular duties at Muan Government Complex

Min Hyeong-bae, the Mayor of the Jeonnam-Gwangju Integrated Special City, has begun working regularly from the Muan Government Complex to address urgent issues in the southwest region. His primary focus includes resolving medical service gaps by establishing a regional medical system and addressing the relocation of the Gwangju military airport.

Min aims to mitigate local discontent following the failure to secure a medical school recommendation for Mokpo National University. He also plans to revitalize Muan International Airport and develop the Muan National Industrial Complex as a key part of the Honam semiconductor industry ecosystem. By working from Muan, Min intends to ensure balanced administration and listen directly to citizens' voices regarding regional development and industrial growth.
