Mayor Norma Fuentes inaugurates Plazoleta Uruguay

Mayor Norma Fuentes inaugurated Plazoleta Uruguay, a new public space located in the América del Sur neighborhood. The approximately 2,600 square meter area features renovated sidewalks, playground equipment on rubber flooring, gym apparatus, snack stations, and a new LED lighting system.

The project is part of broader municipal urbanization efforts in the area, which include the construction of 1,400 linear meters of drainage and the paving of more than 26 blocks. The new green space includes new tree plantings and improved infrastructure to foster community interaction.
