Municipal President Patty Chío inspected ongoing drainage‑cleaning work in El Mante, Tamaulipas, aiming to reduce flood risk during the rainy season. Accompanied by Public Works director Pedro González Ángeles, she noted that 11 km of the planned 20 km of municipal drain cleaning have been completed. In the Tres Huastecas drain, 2.5 km of the 4 km target have been cleared, improving water flow and helping prevent blockages that could cause flooding.
