Mayor Pepe Chedraui launches 'Alimentación Imparable' food aid in Puebla

On June 9, 2026, the municipal government of Puebla, headed by Mayor Pepe Chedraui, distributed food parcels through the city’s DIF program “Alimentación Imparable” at the La Margarita housing complex and the Santo Tomás Chautla auxiliary council. The mayor said, “Estamos aquí por ustedes. Seguimos trabajando para que a Puebla le vaya bien; para las mujeres, nuestros adultos mayores y las personas con alguna discapacidad, acercando estos proyectos directamente a las colonias y a los ciudadanos.”

The parcels contain basic‑basket items intended for families in vulnerable conditions, especially out‑of‑school children, persons with disabilities and older adults. DIF Puebla Capital director Jesús Alejandro Cortés Carrasco and the city’s secretary of women, Zaira González, highlighted that the initiative aims to improve food security and reinforce the administration’s commitment to inclusive social support for Puebla’s residents.
